Conservation Planner
Avis Baker
Avis Baker is a NHACD Conservation Planner working with NRCS statewide, and assists Grafton, Sullivan and Cheshire County Conservation Districts with education and outreach projects. Avis graduated from Plymouth State University with a B.S in Biology. Prior to her work with NHACD, Avis worked for New Hampshire Fish & Game as a biological technician for the Eastern Brook Trout Joint Venture project. Avis has had a lifelong passion for wildlife and the natural world. In her free time, she enjoys hiking with her dog, antiquing, and gardening.

Conservation Planner
Rebecca Scheetz
Rebecca Scheetz is a NHACD Conservation Planner assisting the NRCS in Cheshire and Sullivan counties, and assisting with education and outreach in Rockingham and Strafford counties. Rebecca has a bachelors in Forest Ecosystem Science from SUNY Environmental Science and Forestry. Before working for the NHACD, Rebecca previously worked as a conservation planner for the NRCS and National Wild Turkey Federation, and was also a summer camp director for the Girl Scouts of NYPENN Pathways. In her spare time Rebecca enjoys crochet, reading, and building sets for community theatre groups.

Conservation Planner
Leslie Prillaman
Leslie Prillaman is a NHACD Conservation Planner who supports outreach and education efforts and assists NRCS in Carroll and Coos counties. She brings over a decade of experience in sustainable farming, along with a Bachelor of Science degree in Ecology. Her curiosity about how everything is connected, from farms to ecosystems, shapes both her work and her life. Outside of work, she enjoys raising her two young children and helping them build a strong connection to the outdoors. ​

Stephen Scapicchio
President
Stephen, a seasoned professional who retired in 2019 and transitioned into a dedicated advocate for environmental conservation. He serves in numerous organizations including the Mirror Lake Protective Association, Tuftonboro Conservation Commission, Carroll County Conservation Board, Moose Mountains Regional Greenways, and NACD. A staunch advocate for environmental stewardship, Stephen's retirement from the corporate world has become a powerful catalyst for positive change.

Dorn Cox
Vice President
Dorn is a farmer working his 250-acre certified organic family farm in New Hampshire. As a founder of the FarmOS software platform and the Farm Hack community, he is passionate about sharing open-source agricultural tools, software, and data to accelerate innovation and quantify environmental services from regenerative agriculture. He has a Ph.D. from the University of New Hampshire in Natural Resources and Earth Systems Science.

Donna's interest in serving on the NHACD Board stems from a commitment to working with communities, landowners and conservation partners to retain the quality of life in New Hampshire. She believes that working with the Conservation Planners, NHACD partners, and the NH Envirothon Programs that NHACD hosts need continued support. She is currently Chair of the State Conservation Committee.
